Mary Jo Putt

Mary Jo Putt, 95, of Angola, IN passed away at 4:17 a.m. on Saturday, October 13, 2018 at the Lakeland Nursing and Rehabilitation Center in Angola. She was born on February 23, 1923 in Garrett, IN to Shirley O. & Edna (Vanfleet) Redman.

She attended Garrett High School in Garrett and graduated from Washington High School in Washington, IN.  She lived most of her life in the Angola area and retired from GTE in Fort Wayne, IN after 20+ years.  She was dedicated to helping others, serving her community, and supporting her many friends.

She was a member of the Fairview Missionary Church in Angola.

She is survived by:

Son – Larry (Sherrie) Putt of South Bend, IN

Daughter – Sally Jo Kohler of Rochester, NY

2 Grandsons – Brian (Sandy) Kohler of Rochester, NY and Christopher (Jennifer) Kohler of Syracuse, NY

3 Granddaughters – Heather (Jeremy)Stansbury of Plymouth, IN, Sarah Jo Mueller of South Bend, IN, & Rachel (Sonny) Martin of Bremen, IN00

12 Gt. Grandchildren & 1 Gt. Gt. Grandchild

She was preceded in death by her parents, son – Jerry Lee Putt, & Gt. Granddaughter

Visitation will be from 10:00 – 11:00 a.m. on Saturday, October 20, 2018 at the Fairview Missionary Church, 525 E 200 N, Angola, IN 46703.  A memorial service will follow at 11:00 a.m. with Pastor Norm Fuller of the church officiating. Cremation Services of Kosciusko County, 4356 N. St. Rd 15, Warsaw, IN is in charge of arrangements.
