Maxine L. Mick

Maxine Lucille Mick, 91, of Syracuse, IN passed away at 5:50 p.m. on Wednesday, May 15, 2013 at Millers Merry Manor in Syracuse. She was born on March 4, 1922 in Syracuse, IN to Clarence & Eva (Eppert) McKibben.

She was a lifetime area resident and attended Syracuse public schools. On December 17, 1976 in New Paris, IN she married Frederick Mick who preceded her on March 24, 1987. She retired in 1993 from Syracuse Rubber Company at the age of 71 after 32 years of service.

She was a former member of the V.F.W. Auxiliary in Syracuse.

She is survived by:
Daughter – Mrs. Edward (Sandy) Grise of Goshen
2 Grand & 6 Gt. Grandchildren
Brother – Charles McKibben of Syracuse

She was preceded in death by her parents, husband, brother – Morris McKibben, sister – Wanita Schrock, & step brother – Robert (Bob) Wiles

Graveside services will be at 10:00 a.m. on Monday, May 20, 2013 at the Syracuse Cemetery, Mill St., Syracuse, IN with Pastor John Rauch of the Grace Community Church officiating.

Memorial bequest may be given to the Millers Merry Manor Activities Fund, 500, E. Pickwick Dr., Syracuse, IN 46567. Envelopes are available at the funeral home.
