Melody K. May

Melody Kaye “Mel” May, 48, of North Webster, IN passed away at 3:10 p.m. on Saturday, September 26, 2015 at the home of her parents. She was born on March 23, 1967 in Warsaw, IN to David W. “Dave” & Betty G. (Tindall) Berger.

She was a lifetime North Webster area resident and graduated in 1986 from Wawasee High School in Syracuse, IN. She was formerly employed at R.R. Donnelley in Warsaw and worked at Bart’s Watersports in North Webster for 19 years.

She formerly attended the 1st Presbyterian Church in Warsaw and was a member of American Legion Post #253 Auxiliary in North Webster.

She was survived by:

Daughter – Kayla Berger of North Webster

Son – Joshua Rudd of North Webster

Parents – Dave & Betty Berger of North Webster

2 Sisters – Lori (Matt) Brubaker of Warsaw & Michele (Jerry) Fisher of North Webster

Half-sister – Gina Bono of Boulder, CO

Visitation will be from 4:00 – 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday, September 29, 2015 at Owen Family Funeral Home, St. Rd. 13 & CR 500N, North Webster, IN.  Memorial services with follow at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday in the funeral home with Pastor Mike Beezley of the Clunette United Methodist Church  and John Bryan Lowe III of the New Life Christian Church in Warsaw officiating. Cremation will take place at Cremation Services of Kosciusko County, 4356 N. St. Rd. 15, Warsaw, IN.
