Merry Thomas (Riemersma)

Merry L. Thomas, of Rochester, passed away unexpectedly at Lutheran Hospital in Fort Wayne on Saturday November 13, 2021, at the age of 61.

Born in Columbia City on March 8, 1960, Merry was the only daughter of Roscoe and Betty Riemersma. She spent her life raising her children.

Family was most important to Merry. She cherished time spent with them, especially with her grandchildren. She also appreciated Harley Davidson and sugar skulls. Her family remembers her love of butterflies and Mickey Mouse. In her free time, she enjoyed shopping.

Merry is survived by her children, Amber (Charlie) See, Jasper (Cheyenne) Thomas, and River (Elizabeth) Thomas, all of Rochester; grandchildren, Matthew See, Zander See, Averie See, Alivia See, and Akayda See; brothers, Don Riemersma and Michael Jackson; nieces and nephews, Brandy (Jasper Chiv) Light, Junior (Marion) Reinhart, Melanie, Jake, Dusty, Kris, Shawna, and Vicki; and sister in laws, Michelle Lucas, and Cheryl Thomas. Those who further survive are great nieces and nephews as well as many extended family members and friends. She is preceded in death by her parents; son, Phillip Joe in 1991; and fiancé, Dennis Brown.

Friends and family may gather on Sunday November 21, 2021, at Titus Funeral Home, 2000 E. Sheridan St. Warsaw, IN 46580 from 3:00PM until 6:00PM with family speaking at 6:00PM.
