Michael Miller

Mike Miller, age 49 of Claypool and a longtime resident of the North Webster and Syracuse areas, passed away unexpectedly on February 16, 2023.

 

Born Michael Miller II, in Fort Wayne on November 27, 1973, Mike, as most knew him, was the son of Michael Miller and Janet (McKenzie) Doerscher. He was a graduate of Warsaw Community High School and spent most of his adult life in Kosciusko County.

 

Professionally, Mike was in the construction trades. He worked in tree trimming and tree removal, home renovation and pier installation. He was quite handy and could fix almost anything.  He was smart and had a sarcastic but good sense of humor. He liked music of all kinds and time spent on the lake. 

 

A selfless person who was always willing to help others, Mike is survived by four daughters: Kaylen Miller (fiance, Aaron Case) of Warsaw, Amaya Miller of Indianapolis, Sandra Miller and Tonya Miller - both of Sturgis, MI; mother, Janet Doescher of Huntington and father, Michael Miller of Bluffton. He is also survived by brothers, James and John Miller and grandchildren, Addison and Octavia Case. He was preceded in passing by his grandparents and a brother, Joe Miller.

 

Titus Funeral Home is entrusted with care of the Miller family. Services will be held at the Warsaw location, 2000 Sheridan Street, Warsaw on Tuesday, February 21, 2023 beginning at 7p.m. Visitation will take place for two hours prior.
