Michael A. “Mike” McAfee, 56, of Syracuse, IN (formerly of Elkhart, IN) passed away at 11:30 p.m. on Saturday, July 16, 2016 at Miller’s Merry Manor in Syracuse. He was born on November 1, 1959 in Fort Wayne, IN to Gary A. & Barbara A. (Fall) McAfee.
He graduated in 1978 from Elkhart Central High School and 1982 from Northwood University in Midland, MI. He was formerly employed at River Park, Pete Fall Ford, and Miller R.V. all in Elkhart and lived most of his life in the Elkhart area before coming to Syracuse in May 2016.
He is survived by:
2 Daughters – Mallory McAfee & Carson McAfee both of Elkhart
Parents – Gary & Barbara McAfee of Syracuse
2 Sisters – Kristine (Dr. Roger) West of Indianapolis & Kimberly Fiant of Elkhart
Brother – Donald (Jill) McAfee of Elkhart
A Celebration of Life Gathering will be held from 5:00 – 8:00 p.m. on Friday, July 22, 2016 at the Christiana Creek Country Club, 116 W. Bristol St., Elkhart, Indiana. Cremation Services of Kosciusko County, 4356 N. St. Rd 15, Warsaw, IN is in charge of arrangements.
