Michael Ray "Mike" Moore

Michael Ray “Mike” Moore, 59, of Pierceton, IN passed away Wednesday, August 28, 2013 from injuries sustained in an accident involving the semi-truck he was driving on I-75 near Dayton, OH.  He was born on January 8, 1954 in Warsaw, IN to Raymond & Josephine (Nelson) Moore.

He was a lifetime North Manchester / Pierceton area resident and graduated in 1972 from Manchester High School in North Manchester. He was married on December 15, 1972 in Fort Wayne, IN to Karen Lynn Wall who survives. He was employed as a truck driver for Central Transport for the past 6 years.

He enjoyed horses, mechanics & handyman type things.

He is survived by:
Wife – Karen Moore of Pierceton
2 Daughters – Brooke (Eric) Beck of Pierceton & Jessica Moore of Roanoke, IN
Son – Travis Michael (Brooke) Moore of Huntington, IN
2 Grandchildren – Haylee Renee & Breanna Ray Moore
Parents – Ray & Josephine Moore of Columbia City, IN
Sister – Crystal (Dave) Anderson of Columbia City
2 Brothers – Roger (Peg) Moore of Indianapolis & Ed (Pat) Moore of Urbana, IN

Visitation will be from 2:00- 6:00 p.m. on Sunday, September 1, 2013 at Owen Family Funeral Home, St. Rd 13 & CR 500N, North Webster.  No public funeral services are planned.

Memorial bequest may be given to Ride With Faith Inc., 2180 E. Mowrey Rd., Columbia City, IN 46725. Envelopes will be available at the funeral home.
