Michael W. “Doc” Doom, 63, of Syracuse, IN passed away at 9:43 a.m. on Tuesday, June 16, 2015 at his home. He was born on November 29, 1951 in East St. Louis, IL to William O. & Helen J. (Kimes) Doom.
He graduated from Triad High School in Illinois and moved to Syracuse in 1998 from Collinsville, IL. He was married on July 7, 2007 in Syracuse to Donna R. (Martin) Laudenslager who survives. He was self-employed and enjoyed working on arcade game machines.
He is survived by:
Wife – Donna Doom of Syracuse
Mother – Helen Doom of Caseyville, IL
Stepson – Chris (Lisa) Laudenslager of Sexton, MO
Step Grandchildren – Christopher & Hunter Laudenslager
Sister – Peggy (William) Gorden of St. Louis, MO
Brother – Patrick Doom of Collinsville, IL
He was preceded in death by his father.
Cremation will take place at Cremation Services of Kosciusko County in Warsaw, IN. No visitation or services are planned. Owen Family Funeral Home, 1001 S. Huntington St., Syracuse, IN is in charge of all arrangements.
Memorial bequest may be given to the donor’s choice. Envelopes are available at the funeral home.
