Michelle Osborn Harter, age 48, of Kimmell and previously of Warsaw, passed away on April 1, 2024, at Parkview Regional Medical Center in Fort Wayne, IN. She was a radiant presence in the lives of those who knew her and touched countless hearts with her kindness and grace. She was born to her parents Michael Osborn and Janice Johnson on December 11, 1975 in Warsaw, Indiana. She later married Chad Harter on May 24, 1997.
Throughout her career, Michelle made significant contributions during her time at Zimmer Biomet and Depuy. Michelle had a zest for life that was truly unmatched. She found joy in the simple things, whether it was exploring new destinations, indulging in her love for crochet, grooving to the tunes of 80's music, or spending quality time with her beloved pets - dogs, cats, and two birds. Her passion for garage sales and fishing added an adventurous flair to her life that was truly inspiring.
In the realm of education, Michelle graduated from Warsaw Community High School in 1994 and went on to earn her bachelor's degree in criminal science from Brown Mackie College. Her pursuit of knowledge reflected her intellectual curiosity and thirst for learning.
Known for her unwavering optimism and ever-present smile, Michelle brightened every room she entered. Her infectious positivity was a beacon of light for those around her, uplifting spirits and spreading warmth wherever she went.
Michelle will be deeply missed by her surviving family husband, Chad Harter; children Ryan and Hayden Harter; father Michael Osborn (Dianne Thomas) and mother Janice Johnson (Cliff Thomas); siblings Michael (Faith) Osborn Jr. and Danielle (Ted) Grumme. She is preceded in death by her grandparents and a good friend Alpha Weirick.
A Life Celebration to honor Michelle's life will be held at Titus Funeral Home in Warsaw. A visitation will take place on April 8th, 2024, from 11:00 AM to 1:00 PM. A Life Celebration funeral will follow at 1 o'clock with Pastor Rick Hurley officiating. The burial will immediately occur at Oakwood Cemetery.
