Mickey E. “Mick” Belcher, 75, of Syracuse, IN passed away at 5:42 p.m. on Thursday, March 12, 2020 at Goshen Hospital. He was born on January 5, 1945 in Rochester, IN to William & Margaret (Jump) Belcher.
He grew up in Rochester, IN, graduated in 1963 from Rochester High School, and attended Western New Mexico University in Silver City, NM. He was married on April 21, 2001 in Syracuse, IN to Karen S. (Wandrey) Huey who survives and lived in Syracuse for the past 25+ years. He was a farmer and formerly worked at Polar Ice in North Webster and was the owner / operator of Big League Barber Shops in Fort Wayne.
He was a member of the Calvary United Methodist Church in Syracuse.
He is survived by:
Wife – Karen Belcher of Syracuse
2 Daughters – Andrea (Cliff) Harris of Carmel and Debra Belcher of Rochester
Son – Terry Belcher of Cicero, IN
Stepdaughter – Kari (Jerry) Sheward of Noblesville
Stepson – Rob Huey of Fort Wayne
16 Grand and 1 Gt. Grandchildren
Brother – Richard Belcher of Rochester
He was preceded by his parents.
Cremation will take place at Cremation Services of Kosciusko County, 4356 N. St. Rd 15, Warsaw, IN. Visitation will be from 11:00 – 1:00 p.m. on Tuesday, March 17, 2020 at Calvary United Methodist Church 801 S. Huntington St., Syracuse, IN. Memorial services will follow at 1:00 p.m. on Tuesday in the church with Pastor David Henry officiating.
