Mildred L. Cronkhite, 86, of Warsaw, Indiana passed away Tuesday, November 26, 2013 in Grace Village Healthcare, Winona Lake, Indiana at 11:48 PM.
The daughter of Ernest E. and Ethel (Watkins) Unruh, Mildred was born October 21, 1927 in Warsaw. She was a lifetime Warsaw resident, Mildred was a telephone operator with Embarq aka United and Sprint) ro 40 years retiring in 2007. She was a member of North Winona Church of the Brethren, Warsaw.
Survivors include husband: Leo Cronkhite, Warsaw; son and daughter-in-law: James L. and Barbara Jo Cronkhite of Athens, Alabama; brother and sister-in-law: Frank and Violet Unruh, Warsaw; and sister: Evelyn Long of Etna Green, Indiana.
Mary Ann was preceded in death by her father, Ernest Unrugh (March 27), 1985 and mother, Ethel Unruh (August 15, 1983).
There will be no visitation. Private family services will be held. Rev, Michael Smith of the church will officiate with burial in Hillcrest Cemetery, Pierceton, Indiana.
The family has asked that gifts in Mildred's memory be sent to North Winona Church of the Brethren, 2475 E. 100N, Warsaw, Indiana, 46582.
The staff of Titus Funeral Home considers it a privilege to care for the family and friends of Mildred L. Cronkhite.
