Miriam R. Dorrington, 85, of Warsaw, IN (formerly of Evergreen Park, IL) passed away on Tuesday, May 11, 2021 in Syracuse, IN. She was born on November 22, 1935 in Chicago, IL to Martin and Vera (Johnson) Lundien.
She graduated from Calumet High School in Chicago, IL and lived most of her life in the Chicago area. She was formerly employed as a medical secretary in Chicago for 7 years and as an administrative assistant for the Museum of Science and Industry. She moved from Evergreen Park to the Warsaw area in 2010.
She is survived by:
Husband – Bert G. LaBash of Warsaw
Daughter – Renae (Jim) Lambrecht of Evergreen Park
2 Sons – William (Mary) Dorrington of Princeville, IL & Gerald Dorrington of Oregon
9 Grandchildren – Brett, Brittany (Brad), Bethany (Patrick), Patrick (Stephanie), Sean (Tiffany), Scott, Ryan (Katie), Eddie (Christie), & Brianna (Kenji)
14 Gt. Grandchildren
She was preceded in death by her parents and brother – John Lundien.
Cremation will take place at Cremation Services of Kosciusko County, 4356 N. St. Rd 15, Warsaw, IN. She will be placed at rest at the Holy Sepulchre Cemetery in Alsip, IL. Preferred memorials may be given to the Animal Welfare League of Kosciusko County, 1048 S. 325E, Pierceton, IN 46562.
