Morris W. "Morrie" Wolferman

Morris W. “Morrie” Wolferman, 77, of Milford, IN passed away at 4:30 a.m. on Thursday, September 20, 2012 at The Maples Nursing Home in Goshen, IN. He was born on July 25, 1935 in Milford, In to John W. & Ruth (Blough) Wolferman.

He grew up in Milford and graduated in 1953 from Milford High School. He was a United States Army Veteran and a lifetime area resident except 2 years while in the service. He retired as a foreman from Johnson Controls in Goshen after 35 years of service.

He was a member of the Masonic Lodge in Milford and formerly attended the Bethel Church of the Brethren in Milford.

He is survived by:
Sister – Mary Vanlaningham of Milford
Brother – Robert “Bob” (wife, Joyce) Wolferman of Milford
Several nieces & nephews

He was preceded in death by his parents and brother – Dick Wolferman.

Visitation will be from 12:00 noon – 2:00 p.m. on Saturday, September 22, 2012 at Owen Family Funeral Home, 1001 S. Huntington St., Syracuse, IN. Funeral services will follow at 2:00 p.m. on Saturday in the funeral home with Pastor Michael Kelley of the Word of Truth Ministries in Milford officiating. Burial will follow in the Milford Cemetery.

Memorial bequest may be given to the Word of Truth Ministries, 210 E. Catherine St., Milford, IN 46542. Envelopes will be available at the funeral home.
