Myrna R. Stout passed away Monday, January 20, 2014 at 4:02 PM in her daughter's Warsaw, Indiana home at the age of 72.
Born June 5, 1941 in Muncie, Indiana to Merrill and Norma (Watson) Richman, she was a 1960 graduate of Madison Heights High School in Anderson, Indiana. She also was a graduate of Apex Beauty School in Anderson and would spend 54 years as a licensed beautician.
On March 16, 1962 she and Farrell "Butch" Stout were married in Anderson and moved to Warsaw in May 2011 from Yorktown, Indiana.
Myrna was a seamstress. She enjoyed woodworking and was an artisan in stained glass. She also enjoyed her cats, NASCAR, listening to country music and watching the Colts play football. But most of all she loved spending time with her children, grandchildren and great grandchildren.
Myrna is survived by Farrell "Butch" Stout of Warsaw who was her husband of 51 years; 2 daughters: Lorrie Stout and Deb Meyer - both of Warsaw; a son: Dennis Stout of Brownsburg, Indiana; a brother and sister-in-law: Jim and Nikki Richman of Pendleton, Indiana; 5 granddaughters and husbands: Ashley (and Chris) VanDurmen, Warsaw; Megan Gunter, Warsaw; Danielle Meyer of Stow, Ohio; Alison (and Justin) Reynolds of Fort Wayne, Indiana and Emily and (Chris) Janda of Greenfield, Indiana; 2 great grandsons: Jacoby and Silas; 2 great granddaughters: MaryJane and Eden; as well as nieces and nephews.
Myrna was preceded in death by her mother, Norma Richman (May 25, 2006), father, Merrill (January 11, 2007) and brother, Earl Wayne Richman (July 28, 1994).
Family and friends will gather for a time of sharing in support of each other Friday, January 24th from 2-6 PM at Titus Funeral Home, Warsaw. Then following at 6 PM in the funeral home there will be a celebration of Myrna's life. Pastor David Cripe of New Hope Freewill Baptist Church, Warsaw, will officiate.
The family has asked that gifts in Myrna's memory be directed to Animal Welfare League of Kosciusko County, PO Box 1906, Warsaw, Indiana 46581-1906.
