Nancy J. Hickman

Nancy J. Hickman, 85, of Milford, IN passed away on Sunday, August 30, 2020 at Goshen Hospital. She was born on February 5, 1935 in Goshen, IN to Joseph A. & Cynthia B. (Downing) Galvin.

She was a lifetime area resident, graduated in 1953 from Milford High School, attended Ivy Tech in Warsaw, and I.U.S.B. in South Bend. She was a former secretary for Goshen Manufacturing, Weatherhead in Syracuse, and Newmar Corporation in Nappanee.

She was member of the Eagles Auxiliary in Syracuse, American Legion Auxiliary in Warsaw and was of the Catholic Faith.

She is survived by:

Daughter- Ronda (Jeff Yoder) Davis of Milford

Son - Jack (Chris Holman) Hickman of China Grove, NC

5 Grand & 9 Gt. Grand

She was preceded in death by parents, 2 sons – Joe & Bob Hickman, brother – Joseph Galvin, sister – Doris Galvin, half-sister – Betty Dorgan, and former husband – Jackie Dale Hickman.

Cremation will take place at Cremation Services of Kosciusko County, 4356 N. St. Rd. 15, Warsaw, IN. Visitation will be from 12:00 – 2:00 p.m. on Saturday, September 5, 2020 at Owen Family Funeral Home, 1001 S. Huntington St., Syracuse, IN. Memorial services will follow at 2:00 p.m. on Saturday in the funeral home with Pastor Brad Cox of the Wawasee Lakeside Chapel officiating. Burial will take place in the Salem Cemetery in Wilmot, IN
