Naomi Ruth Boyer, 90, a resident of North Webster, IN died at 6:45 a.m. on Thursday, June 18, 2020 at Peabody Retirement Community in North Manchester. She was born August 13, 1929 in Windfall, IN to William Darrell and Wilma (Smith) Clouser.
Naomi spent the majority of her childhood on a family farm in Windfall, they later moved to Greentown for a short while, and then to Chester Township. She graduated from Chester High School in 1947 and attended Fort Wayne Business School. She married Jack Devon Boyer on October 15, 1955. She assisted her husband throughout his business endeavors and raised their two children. She loved the outdoors, enjoyed mowing the lawn, growing flowers, and feeding the birds.
She is survived by her brother - Clifford Franklin (Margaret) Clouser of Estero Florida; two daughters - Carla (Steve) Atkinson of Hibbing, Minnesota and Sarah (Joe) Braud of Moseley, Virginia; five grandchildren - Julie Juntune of Virginia, Minnesota, Ruthanne Atkinson, of St. Paul, Minnesota, Brandon, Jacob, and Joseph Braud all of Moseley, Virginia; two great-grandchildren - Miles and Kaia Juntune of Virginia, Minnesota.
She was preceded in death by her parents, and three sisters - Lois Jane (Arnold) Singleton, Helen Louise (Glen) Dodson, and Edna Alice Bartoo.
A private family visitation will be held at Owen Family Funeral Home, St. Rd 13 & CR 500N, North Webster. Burial will be in North Webster Cemetery. A family Celebration of Life is planned for a later date.
