Nina L. Jacobs

Nina L. Jacobs, 85, of North Webster, IN passed away at 1:27 p.m. on Friday, December 25, 2015 at her home. She was born on April 29, 1930 in Alexandria, IN to Ferrbee & Ollie M. (Hollingsworth) Cunningham.

She graduated in 1948 from Alexandria High School in Alexandria, IN and attended Ball State University in Muncie, IN. On April 7, 1949 in Alexandria she married John W. (Jack) Jacobs who preceded her on July 9, 2015. She retired in 1978 from Dr. Rohn Dental Office in Yorktown, IN as a Certified Dental Assistant after 16 years. She moved to the North Webster area from Alexandria permanently in 1983 after spending summers in North Webster since 1967.

She was a member of North Webster Church of God, former member of the American Legion Auxiliary Post 253 in North Webster, & former member and president of the Dental Assistants Association.

She is survived by:

Daughter- Rhonda (Danny Anderson) Jacobs of Nashville, IN

2 Sons-John C. (Diane) Jacobs of Alexandria and Douglas W. (Peggy) Jacobs of Noblesville, IN

5 Grand & 6 Gt. Grandchildren

She was preceded by her parents, husband, 2 sisters - Rose Cunningham & Harriett Stansberry, & 7 brothers - Basil Ferdie, Charles, Harold (Tune), James, Daniel, & Marion Cunningham.

Visitation will be from 2:00 – 4:00 & 6:00 – 8:00 p.m. on Tuesday, December 29, 2015 at Owen Family Funeral Home, St. Rd. 13 & CR 500N, North Webster, IN. Funeral services will be 11:00 a.m. on Wednesday, December 30, 2015 at the Church of God, 300 N. Main St., North Webster, IN with Pastor Jeff Boyer of the church officiating. Cremation will take place at Cremation Services of Kosciusko County, 4356 N. St. Rd. 15, Warsaw, IN. Burial will take place at 1:00 p.m. on Saturday, January 9, 2016 at the Parkview Cemetery in Alexandria, IN.
