Ninfa Gomez (Hernandez-Consalez)

Ninfa Maria Gomez, age 58 of Warsaw, Indiana and a longtime resident of Harlingen, Texas, passed away unexpectedly on Tuesday, December 29, 2020 at 10:35 p.m. in Kosciusko Community Hospital, Warsaw.
Born on February 8, 1962 in Princeton, Florida, Ninfa was the daughter of Jesus Hernandez Consalez and Juanita (Martinez) Gonzalez. She spent much of her youth in Harlingen where she started her own family and where many family members still reside.
A kind, caring woman with a great sense of humor, Ninfa could light up a room and lifted the spirits of all who knew her. She loved to laugh and left a mark everywhere she went. She enjoyed fishing and time at the beach but nothing meant more to her than time spent with those she loved.
Surviving with memories to treasure are her children: Jackie Gomez of Warsaw, Johnny Gomez of Harlingen, Kimberly Gomez of Warsaw, Jeramy Gomez of Harlingen and Jessica Gomez of Harlingen; mother, Juanita Gonzalez; two sisters and two brothers. Ninfa’s life was blessed with 25 grandchildren and a great-granddaughter. She was preceded in passing by her father, Jesus “Chuy” Hernandez-Consalez.
Warsaw’s Titus Funeral Home is assisting the family with local arrangements. Ninfa will travel home to Harlingen where interment will take place in Ashland Memorial Park Cemetery.
