Norma J. Davidsen, 86, of Syracuse, IN passed away at 11:31 p.m. on Sunday, February 3, 2019 at her home. She was born on June 8, 1932 in New Haven, IN to Norbert L. & Clara J. (Bowlby) Ladig.
She was raised in Fort Wayne and attended Catholic Schools in Fort Wayne. She was married on April 2, 1966 in Mishawaka, IN to Harold C. Davidsen who survives. She lived most of her life in the Noble, Kosciusko, and Elkhart Counties, retired from Western Rubber in Goshen after 25 years as an inspector, and formerly worked at Essex Wire in Ligonier.
She is survived by:
Husband – Harold Davidsen of Syracuse
2 Sons – Richard (Linda) Morris of Millersburg & Gregory (Sue) Morris of New Paris
2 Daughters – JoAnna Weigold of Syracuse & Cathy (Bill) Stuckman of Syracuse
Stepson – Rev. David A. (Mary) Davidsen of Goshen
10 Grand & Several Gt- Grandchildren
She was preceded in death by her parents, 2 daughters – Marilyn June Davidsen & Cynthia Kay Easterday, sister – Sarah Reed, and 2 brothers – Donald & Lowell Ladig.
No public services are planned. Cremation will take place at Cremation Services of Kosciusko County, 4356 N. St. Rd. 15, Warsaw, IN 46580. Private family burial will take place in the Sparta Cemetery in Kimmell, IN at a later date. Owen Family Funeral Home, 1001 S. Huntington St., Syracuse, IN is in charge of arrangements.
