Olivia S. Ramirez

Olivia S. Ramirez, 67, of North Webster, IN passed away at 8:21 a.m. on Thursday, September 17, 2015 at her home. She was born on September 15, 1948 in Brownfield, TX to Jesus & Julia (Garcia) Salazar.

She grew up Texas and attended public schools in Brownfield. She was married April 1967 in Altus, OK to Refugio M. “Cuco” Ramirez who survives. She was a homemaker and formerly worked at Rinker Boats in Syracuse & Barth Manufacturing in Milford. She moved to North Webster 30 years ago from Milford.

She was a member of the Church of the Brethren in North Webster and was an avid BINGO player.

She is survived by:

Husband – Cuco Ramirez of North Webster

2 Daughters – Norma (Don) Caudill of North Webster & Nancy (Harold) Fretz of New Paris

Son – Refugio “Fugi” (Tammy) Ramirez of Leesburg

9 Grand & 5 Gt. Grandchildren

Sisters – Elizabeth (Ken) Harrington of Nappanee & Martha (Bobby) Fretz of Goshen

Brother – Joe (Rosa) Salazar of Syracuse; Jack Salazar of Milford; and Jimmy Salazar of Bristol.

She was preceded in death by her parents, 2 sisters – Gloria A. Salazar & Lenora Mediano, and 2 brothers – Jess Salazar & and an infant brother.

Visitation will be from 4:00 – 7:00 p.m. on Monday, September 21, 2015 at the Church of the Brethren, 7281 E 600N, North Webster, IN. Funeral services will follow at 7:00 p.m. on Monday in the church with Pastor Robert Wyman of the church officiating. Cremation will take place at Cremation Services of Kosciusko County, 4356 N. St. Rd 15, Warsaw, IN.
