Orrin Andrew "Andy" Hoffer, 81, of Warsaw, IN passed away at 12:15 p.m. on Monday, November 13, 2017 at Parkview Regional Hospital in Fort Wayne, IN. He was born on May 26, 1936 in Warsaw, IN to Fred & Gladys Lucille (Hunter) Hoffer.

He graduated from Etna Green High School and was a lifetime resident of the Etna Green / Warsaw area. He was married on February 29, 2004 in Puta Gorda, FL to Beverly Ann (Tinkey) who survives. He retired in 2001 as owner / operator of Hoffer Trucking Inc. and formerly worked as a driver for General Electric in Fort Wayne for many years.

He was a member of the Moose Lodge #1423, Rozella Ford Golf Club, and Kosciusko Community Senior Activity Club all in Warsaw, and Plymouth-Kilwinning Lodge #148 F & AM in Plymouth. Former member of Fraternal Order of Eagles #1339, Fraternal Order of Elks, and Stonehenge Golf Club all in Warsaw. He enjoyed golf, reading computer, TV, travel, walking, all sports, and his grandchildren.

He is survived by:

Daughter - Lisa Fath of Palmetto, FL

4 Sons – Dirk A. Hoffer of Las Vegas, NV, Brian Miller of North Manchester, Darin (Lori) Miller of Columbia City, and Andrew F. (Monica) Hoffer of Douglas, WY

3 Step Daughter – Terri Lynn (Kevin) Eaton of Claypool, Carleen Sue (Mark) Quinlan of Granger, Allyson Ann (Tony) Fox of Bloomington

2 Step Sons – Douglas William (Virginia) Clampitt & Stephen Scott (Terri) Clampitt both of Warsaw

8 Grand, 11 Great Grand, several Step Grand, and several Step Gt. Grandchildren

2 Sisters – Jerri Beth Monesmith of Etna Green & Sandy Lou Cain of Glasgow, KY

Brother – Ron (Dana) Hoffer of Fort Wayne

He was preceded in death by his parents and 2 brothers – Sam & Tom Hoffer.

Cremation will take place at Cremation Services of Kosciusko County. A Celebration of Life service will take place at 11:00 a.m. on Saturday, November 18 2017 at the Cremation Services of Kosciusko County, 4356 N. St. Rd. 15, Warsaw, IN with Pastor Jamy Gregory of Warsaw Community Church officiating. Burial will take place at Oakwood Cemetery at a later date.
