Patricia "Trish" Hernandez, lovingly known as Trish, passed away on November 2, 2023, in Warsaw. Born in Kendallville on March 13, 1964, Trish was the daughter of Gerald and Doris Lucas.
Trish dedicated her career to Zimmer Orthopaedics for more than 38 years, where she worked tirelessly in every position possible. Most recently, she excelled in Plasma Coating, utilizing robotic technology to complete her tasks with precision and efficiency. Trish's dedication and hard work were truly remarkable.
Beyond her professional accomplishments, Trish will be remembered for her vibrant personality and genuine nature. She possessed a unique ability to "tell it like it is," which endeared her to those who knew her best. Her straightforwardness was always accompanied by a warm smile and a kind heart.
Trish had a passion for travel, especially when accompanied by her children. Exploring new destinations together created cherished memories that will forever hold a special place in their hearts. She also had a keen mind for numbers and served as the trusted family planner.
In her free time, Trish indulged in hobbies that brought joy and relaxation into her life. She loved tropical vacations that allowed her to unwind under the warm sun and escape the everyday hustle. Additionally, she appreciated the intricacies of wine tasting during leisurely tours with her friends.
Trish's impact on those around her extended beyond her immediate family. She leaves behind a legacy of love and devotion fondly cherished by her surviving family members and friends. She is survived by her daughter, Sidney Hernandez of Warsaw; son, Dyllan Hernandez of Warsaw; stepdaughter, Amanda Ellet of Urbana; step-grandson, Cruz Ellet; siblings, Les (Doris) Lucas of Warsaw, Deb (Paul) Tharp of Warsaw, and Mindy Tharp of Warsaw.
Titus Funeral Home and Cremation Services of 2000 Sheridan Street, Warsaw is entrusted with care of Trish and the family. Friends may gather there on Sunday, November 5, 2023 from 1 to 4 p.m. A Life Celebration® Funeral will be held at the funeral home on Monday, November 6th beginning at 11 a.m. with gathering for one hour prior. Burial will follow at Pleasant View Cemetery. Pastor Glenn Hall will officiate.
