Patricia A. "Pat" Hayes, 61, of North Webster, IN passed away on Friday, March 13, 2015 at her home. She was born on December 29, 1953 in Marion, IN to David Warren & Almira (Brock) Davis.

She grew up in Jonesboro, graduated in 1973 from Mississinewa High School in Gas City, IN, and attended Indiana University in Kokomo, IN. She moved to the North Webster area in 1990 from Marion and was married on August 28, 1993 in Goshen, IN to John R. “Rocky” Hayes who preceded her in death on June 19, 2011. She formerly was employed at Homecrest Cabinets in Goshen for 20 years.

She was raised in the Methodist Church and attended the Sunday morning services on Lake Webster. She loved Christmas and enjoyed decorating. Summer was her favorite season, her flower gardens were beautiful and some of her favorite times were spent on Webster Lake. She was the life of every party and made friends wherever she went.

She is survived by:
2 Sisters – Suzi (Ernie) Brown of Marion, IN & Kathy (Warren) Collins of Grand Haven, MI
Brother – John (Claudia) Davis of Fishers, IN
Ken Knepshield, the man Pat had planned to spend her life with, of Sweetser, IN
8 nieces and several great nieces and nephews
Beloved Dog - Miley

She was preceded by her parents, husband and dog – Max.

Memorial services will be held at 2:00 p.m. on Saturday, March 28, 2015 at Owen Family Funeral Home, St. Rd. 13 & CR 500N, North Webster, IN with Pastor David Smitley, former pastor of the North Webster United Methodist Church officiating.

Memorial bequest may be given to the Multiple Sclerosis Society, Indiana Chapter, 7301 Georgetown Rd #112, Indianapolis, IN 46268; Lupus Foundation of American, 2000 L Street N.W. Suite 410, Washington D.C. 20036; or American Cancer Society, 130 Red Coach Rd., Mishawaka, IN 46545. Envelopes will be available at the funeral home.
