Patricia A. "Patty" Noffsinger

Patricia A. "Patty" Noffsinger, 72, of Homosassa, FL (formerly of Cromwell, IN) passed away at 9:50 a.m. on Thursday, October 4, 2018 at Vitas Inpatient Hospice in Lecanto, FL. She was born on October 13, 1945 in South Bend, IN.

She lived most of her life in the Ligonier, Syracuse, & Cromwell area before moving to Homosassa in 2014.  On August 26, 1966 in LaGrange, IN she married Walter O. “Walt” Noffsinger who survives.  She was a homemaker, former nurse’s aide for McCray Hospital in Kendallville, Goshen Home Health Care, and Cardinal Center in Warsaw.

She attended the Kingdom Hall of Jehovah’s Witnesses in Homosassa, FL and formerly attended the Kingdom Hall in Cromwell.

She is survived by:

Husband – Walter O. Noffsinger of Homosassa

3 Daughters – Mary Jane (Tom) Calbeck of Ligonier, Cheryl Elaine (Johnny) Ross of Elkhart, and Jennifer Marie (Bob) Baughman of Syracuse

3 Sons – Walter John (Janelle) Noffsinger of Lebanon, OH, David Lee (Mary) Noffsinger of Elkhart, and David James Noffsinger of Elkhart

Sister – Virginia Hofmann of Mishawaka

18 Grand, 29 Gt. Grand, and 1 Gt. Gt. Grandson

She was preceded in death by her parents, foster parents – Clarence & Esther Weber, first husband, infant son – Brian, 2 brothers – Timothy Allman & Dennis Fye, and 2 sisters – Dorothy Barnes & Victoria Sue Szablak

Visitation will be from 4:00 – 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday, October 9, 2018 at Owen Family Funeral Home, 1001 S. Huntington St., Syracuse, IN.  Funeral services will take place at 10:00 a.m. on Wednesday, October 10, 2018 at the funeral home with Mel Chupp officiating.  Burial will follow in the Syracuse Cemetery.
