Patricia E. "Norah" Pomroy

Patricia E. ”Norah” Pomroy, 64, of Syracuse, IN passed away on Saturday, January 26, 2019 at her home. She was born on May 23, 1954 in San Antonio, TX to Paul & Martha (Watson) Ellis.

She graduated in 1972 from Bloomington High School in Bloomington, IN and 1987 from St. Xavier University Nursing School in Chicago. She moved to the Syracuse area 6 years ago from Highland, IN and was a registered nurse at Aseracare Hospice in Elkhart for 5+ years.

She attended the Vineyard Community Church in Syracuse.

She is survived by:

3 Daughters – Dorothy (Dawn) Pomroy of Seattle, WA, Katherine (Damon) Pomroy of Ashville, NC, and Margaret (Adrian) Ballesteros of Chicago, IL

6 Grandchildren

Sister – Martha “Muff” (Mark) Svoboda of Ashville, NC

Brother – Tom (Lisa) Ellis of Bloomington, IN

She was preceded in death by her parents.

Cremation will take place at Cremation Services of Kosciusko County, 4356 N. St. Rd. 15, Warsaw, IN. No public services will be held. Owen Family Funeral Home, 1001 S. Huntington St., Syracuse, IN is in charge of arrangements.

Preferred memorials may be given to the Depression and Bipolar Support Alliance.
