Patricia M. "Patty" Gammiere

Patricia M. “Patty” Gammiere, 75, of Mentor, OH (formerly of Syracuse, IN) passed away on Monday, May 10, 2021 at Lake Health West Medical Center in Willoughby, OH. She was born on March 11, 1946 in Cleveland, OH to William & Bernice (Van) Walker.

She graduated in in 1964 from Collinwood High School in Cleveland, OH and was married on June 8, 1968 in Cleveland, OH to Anthony T. “Tony” Gammiere who preceded her on August 19, 2019. She formerly worked at Weatherhead in Cleveland, OH and retired from the Turkey Creek Assessor’s Office in Syracuse as the Turkey Creek Assessor after several years. She grew up in Cleveland, moved in 1973 to the Syracuse area, and returned to Ohio for her final days with her family.

She is survived by:

Daughter - Renee Gammiere of Benton Harbor, MI

Step Daughter – Antoinette Markouc of Mentor, OH

Step Son - Peter Gammiere of Willoughby, OH

10 Grand & 24 Gt. Grandchildren

2 Sisters – Rita Holen & Nancy Vuchinich both of Cleveland

She was preceded in death by her parents, husband, sister – Jeanette Savage, and Brother – William Walker

Private burial will be in the Syracuse Cemetery. Owen Family Funeral Home, 1001 S. Huntington St., Syracuse, IN is in charge of arrangements.

Preferred memorials may be given to the donor’s choice.
