Paul E. Carson, 70, of North Webster, IN passed away at 4:35 p.m. on Sunday, May 23, 2010 at his home. He was born on January 12, 1940 in Indianapolis, IN to Dale Earl & Helena Ruth (Blackford) Carson.
He graduated in 1960 from North Webster High School and was a United States Navy Veteran having served from 1960-1966. He was married on September 5, 1965 in New Paris, IN to Lorraine P. McGill who survives.
He retired in 1996 from N.I.P.S.Co (Northern Indiana Public Service Company) after 30 years of service as a lineman. He was a member of All Saints Episcopal Church in Syracuse; American Legion Post 253 in North Webster; former member of the North Webster Lions Club where he served as Chairman of the Mermaid Festival for several years.

Son – Steve (wife, Kelly) Carson of Leesburg
Daughter – Tausha Carson of Norfolk, VA
Step Son – Thomas Pfeiffer of Harrisburg, PA
2 Grandsons – Joshua & Jacob Carson of Leesburg
Brother – Jerry Dale Carson of AZ
He was preceded by his parents, & sister – Jean Kerr-Wilson
Visitation will be from 4:00 – 8:00 p.m. on Wednesday, June 2, 2010 at Owen Family Funeral Home, 1001, S. Huntington St., Syracuse. Funeral services will be at 11:00 a.m. on Thursday, June 3, 2010 at the All Saints Episcopal Church, 7812 Vawter Park Rd., Syracuse, IN with Father Larry Biller of the church officiating. Military services will follow at the church by the American Legion Post 253 in North Webster.
Memorial bequest may be given to Goshen Cancer Care, 200 High Park, Goshen, IN 46526; All Saints Episcopal Church; Indiana Chapter of the National Multiple Sclerosis Society, 7301 Georgetown Rd. #112, Indianapolis, IN 46268 or Goshen Care at Home Hospice.
