Paul Arthur Bartels

Paul Arthur Bartels Sr., 61, of North Webster, IN passed away at 4:37 p.m. on Wednesday, May 20, 2020 at his home. He was born on January 18, 1959 in Iron Mountain, MI to Rhinehart Charles & Gloria (Buchner) Bartels.

He graduated in 1978 from Pembine High School in Pembine, WI and was a United States Army veteran. He was married on August 7, 1980 in Copenhagen, Denmark to Debra A. “Deb” Serviss who survives and moved to North Webster in 1994 from New York. He formerly worked for Supreme Corp. in Goshen, Rinker Boats in Syracuse, Syracuse Rubber Company, and Contech in Pierceton.

He was a former member of the American Legion Post 253 in North Webster.

He is survived by:

Wife – Deb Bartels of North Webster

2 Daughters – Tiffany (Eric) Pinkerton & Dawn (Russell) Coy both of Syracuse

Son – Paul (Shannon) Bartels Jr. of North Webster

7 Grandchildren

Mother – Gloria Ferguson of South Bend

3 Sisters - Roxanne (John) Lesjaxck of Menominee, MI, Joann (Dennis) Keenan of South Bend, and Malinda (Keven) Voet of Norway, MI

Brother – Richard (Cathy) Bartles of Marinette, WI

He was preceded in death by his father.

Cremation will take place at Cremation Services of Kosciusko County, 4356 N. St. Rd 15, Warsaw, IN. Visitation will be from 5:00 – 8:00 p.m. on Friday, May 29, 2020 at Owen Family Funeral Home, St. Rd. 13 & CR 500N, North Webster, IN. A brief military service will take place at 7:00 p.m. on Friday in the funeral home.
