Paul E. Johnson

Paul E. Johnson, 88, of Goshen, IN (formerly of North Webster, IN) passed away at 10:00 p.m. on Wednesday, June 27, 2018 in the Maples at Waterford Crossing Nursing Home in Goshen, IN. He was born on August 11, 1929 in Muncie, IN to Wishart B. & Mabel (Larkin) Johnson.

He graduated from Muncie Central High School and from Muncie Business College with a degree in accounting and was married on August 21, 1955 in Elkhart, IN to Lois Ann Sellers who survives. He was a former owner of RD Motor Express in Muncie for 15 years and formerly operated Paul’s Cartage in Daleville, IN for many years. He lived most of his life in the Muncie / Selma area, lived in the North Webster area from 2006 – 2014 before moving to Goshen.

He was a member of Hazelwood Christian Church in Muncie. He was a former member of Kiwanis Club, Junto Club, Jaycees Club all in Muncie, and of the Indiana Motor Trucking Association.

He is survived by:

Wife – Lois Johnson of Goshen

Son – Randall (Nita) Johnson of Milford

Daughter – Kathleen (David) Ziege of Granger

3 Grandchildren – Mat Johnson, Craig Johnson, and Amy Masters

2 Gt. Grandchildren

Sister – Janet Armstrong of Yorktown

He was preceded in death by his parents and 2 sisters – Mary Anderson & Frances Brown.

Cremation will take place at Cremation Services of Kosciusko County, 4356 N. S.R. 15, Warsaw, IN. Visitation will be from 1:00 – 3:00 p.m. on Thursday, July 5, 2018 at Owen Family Funeral Home, 1001 S. Huntington St., Syracuse, IN. Funeral Services will be at 3:00 p.m. on Thursday in the funeral home with Pastor John Schrock of Harbor Light Hospice officiating.
