Paul Ivan Becker, 90, of North Webster, IN passed away at 9:45 p.m. on Saturday, November 18, 2017 at his home. He was born on September 30, 1927 in Elkhart, IN to Lark Raymond & Hattie Aquilla (Davisson) Becker.
He graduated in 1945 from Milford High School and was a United States Navy veteran. He was married on August 14, 1949 in Milford, IN to Josephine E. “Jo” Rensberger who survives. He formerly farmed for many years, was a self-employed siding applicator for 20 years, worked as a milk truck driver, dump truck gravel hauler, plant manager for Lyall Electric in Wolf Lake, and retired as a computer draftsman. He was a lifetime Milford / Leesburg / North Webster area resident.
He was a life member & past commander of the American Legion Post 253 in North Webster and former member of 40 & 8.
He is survived by:
Wife – Jo Becker of North Webster
Daughter – Stacy Huff of Nappanee
Son – Daniel (Pamela) Becker of Leesburg
3 Grand & 6 Gt. Grandchildren
He was preceded in death by his parents and son in law – Jimmy Huff.
Visitation will be from 11:00 a.m. – 1:00 p.m. on Tuesday, November 21, 2017 at Owen Family Funeral Home, St. Rd 13 & CR 500N, North Webster, IN. Funeral services will follow at 1:00 p.m. on Tuesday in the funeral home with Pastor Bob Wyman of the Church of the Brethren in North Webster officiating. Military services will follow funeral services at the funeral home by the North Webster American Legion. Cremation will take place at Cremation Services of Kosciusko County, 4356 N. St. Rd 15, Warsaw, IN. Private family burial will take place in the Milford Cemetery.
