Peggy A. Cole

Peggy A. “Peg” Cole, 63, of Milford, IN passed away at 12:18 p.m. on Thursday, April 11, 2013 at Lutheran Hospital of Indiana in Fort Wayne, IN. She was born on December 10, 1949 in Athens, GA to Carlton & Martha (Cunningham) Frix.

She grew up in Georgia and graduated in 1968 from Jefferson High School in Jefferson, GA. She was married on December 30, 1972 in Talmo, GA to Theodore J. “John” Cole who survives. She moved to the Syracuse / Milford area in 1983 from Georgia and retired in 2010 from Wawasee Community School Corporation after 18 years as a paraprofessional.

She is survived by:
Husband – John Cole of Milford
Daughter – Christy (Michael) Haab of Syracuse
2 Grandsons – Trevor & Trenton Haab
Mother – Martha Frix of Jefferson, GA
Sister – Charlotte (Ed) Gurley of Jefferson, GA
Brother – Carl Frix of Jefferson, GA

She was preceded in death by her father.

Visitation will be from 4:00 – 7:00 p.m. on Monday, April 15, 2013 at Owen Family Funeral Home, 1001 S. Huntington St., Syracuse, IN. Funeral services will follow at 7:00 p.m. on Monday in the funeral home with Pastor  Brad Cox of the Wawasee Lakeside Chapel officiating. Private family burial will take place at the Mt. Pleasant Cemetery in Milford.

Memorial bequest may be given the donor’s choice. Envelopes will be available at the funeral home.
