Philip A. Smith

Philip A. Smith, of Warsaw and formerly of Wabash, passed away at Vernon Health and Rehabilitation on Wednesday, March 19, 2025, at the age of 76. Born on August 31, 1948, Philip was the son of Walter and Jean (Rattiken) Smith. After graduating from high school, Philip enlisted in the United States Marines, where he proudly served his country. After he was honorably discharged, Philip worked as a Quality Engineer.

Philip will be deeply missed by his children, Chris (Rachal Monroe) Smith of Warsaw and Noelle (Bill) Hunter of Wabash; granddaughters, Maddison and Makenna Hunter and Bailey Good, all of Wabash; and step grandsons, Ash and Drake Heitz, both of Wabash. He was preceded in death by his wife, Jane A. Smith in 2021.

Titus Funeral Home and Cremation Services is entrusted with Philip’s care. Currently, the family is grieving privately, and no services are planned. In lieu of flowers, donations may be given to the funeral home to assist with his final expenses or to Eleos Hospice
