Phillip John Wilson, known to most as P.J. passed away on December 3, 2024, at Miller's Merry Manor in Warsaw. He was born on April 14, 1976, in Winamac, Indiana, he was the cherished son of Fredrick Wilson and Sheila Antrim Wilson.
A vibrant individual, P.J. was a lifetime resident of Warsaw and proudly graduated from Warsaw Community High School in 1997. He had zest for life that was evident to all who knew him. P.J. enjoyed day trips to Cardinal Services, where he was actively engaged in the Red Bird Art Studio among other activities. His warm personality and genuine kindness allowed him to make friends effortlessly, and he brought joy and companionship to many.
P.J.'s personality was a delightful blend of charm and a hint of mischief; he rarely knew a stranger and made friends wherever he traveled. Although he was sometimes ornery, he always wore a smile, leaving a lasting impression on those he encountered.
His interests were as varied as the friendships he cherished. He found joy in riding Jeeps, relished quality moments with his family, and had a fondness for old game shows, all of which filled his life with laughter and meaningful memories. He was often seen cheering on his siblings at Lake City Skiers, and attended church at the RUWM.
P.J. is survived by his mother, Sheila Antrim Wilson, and his siblings: Stephen (Jennifer) Wilson, Christopher (Kerri) Wilson, Jakim (Meagan) Wilson, Michael (Lauren) Wilson, Angela Wilson, Erica (Daniel) Lesneski , Nathan Wilson, Ashley (Alex) Blauvelt, and Nicholas Wilson. He was the proud uncle to 12 nephews and 8 nieces who adored him.
P.J. was preceded in death by his father, Fredrick J. Wilson, and his beloved grandparents, whom he cherished deeply. His legacy of kindness, friendship, and joy will continue to live on in the hearts of all who had the privilege of knowing him.
