Phyllis Lorrene Fackler, 84, of Syracuse, IN passed away at 2:18 a.m. on Sunday, September 8, 2019 at Avalon Village Healthcare in Ligonier, IN. She was born on March 12, 1935 in Noble County, IN to Harry George & Catherine Maxine (Lingofelter) Fackler.

She was a lifetime Syracuse area resident and attended New Paris Schools. She retired from Syracuse Dry Cleaners after 22 years, formerly worked for Martha Ruch for 22 years, and Golden Cleaners in Syracuse.

She formerly attended Calvary United Methodist Church & Church of the Brethren both in Syracuse, and the Milford Christian Church.

She is survived by:

Brother- James Fackler of Syracuse

2 Nieces – Karen (Randy) Gill and Sarah Wright

2 Nephews – Jeff (Lori) Fackler and Tim (Nina) Wright

2 Great Nieces - Catherine Fackler & Marci Gill

2 Great Nephews - Dylan & Grant Gill

She was preceded in death by her parents and sister - Sharon Wright.

Visitation will be from 10:00 – 11:00 a.m. on Thursday, September 12, 2019 at Owen Family Funeral Home, 1001 S. Huntington St., Syracuse, IN. Funeral services will follow at 11:00 a.m. on Thursday in the funeral home with pastor & nephew, Jeff Fackler officiating. Burial will take place in the Syracuse Cemetery.

Preferred memorials may be given to the donor’s choice.
