Priscilla A. Woods was called home on Saturday, December 17, 2016 from her Warsaw, Indiana residence. She was 76 years old at the time of her passing.
Priscilla was born on March 26, 1940 to J. LeRoy Anderson and Annie (Jones) Ryan in Roanoke, Virginia. She would graduate in Roanoke from Lucy Addison High School but spent much of her adult life in Warsaw, Indiana.
Priscilla had worked at Zimmer in manufacturing and at Warsaw Walmart. She was a longtime member of First Baptist Church and was faithful to their Adult Sunday School and prayer chain. She enjoyed music, especially gospel, and researching genealogy.
Those left to cherish memories of Priscilla include her two brothers: Jimmy (wife, Elisabeth) Anderson of Tucson, Arizona and Eugene (wife, Belinda) Anderson of Richmond, Virginia; sister, Karen (husband, Albert) Coleman of Roanoke, Virginia; grandson, Christopher Anderson of Honolulu, Hawaii; and three great-grandchildren: Myles C., Malia G. and Makena R. Anderson, all at home. She is also survived by a large extended family who will miss her dearly.
She was recently preceded in death by her mother, Annie Rose Ryan (August 1, 2016), and by her daughter, Janet E. Stutzman (October 7, 2003).
Friends may join the family to share memories and for visitation at Titus Funeral Home, 2000 East Sheridan Street, Warsaw, IN, on Saturday, January 7, 2017 at 9 AM.
A funeral service celebrating Priscilla’s life will follow visitation, beginning at 10 AM, in the Funeral Home. Pastor Steve Rahn of Warsaw’s First Baptist Church will officiate. Burial will be in Oakwood Cemetery.
In lieu of flowers, the family has asked that gifts be made in Priscilla’s memory to First Baptist Church, 2819 Patterson Road, Warsaw, Indiana 46582.
