Rachel Brown, age 27, passed away in her residence on December 2, 2024. She was born on June 6, 1997, in Warsaw, Indiana to Rod Blankenship and Jennifer Scott. She was a devoted stay-at-home mom, Rachel's life radiated warmth and creativity, deeply enriching the lives of those around her. She attended Warsaw Community High School earning her GED. She married Kayla Brown on August 30, 2023.
Rachel was known for her vibrant personality—fun, spunky and outspoken, she brought a lightness and determination to every endeavor she undertook. She had a sweet tooth and loved to bake cupcakes and cookies, often cooking for her family and friends. Rachel’s passion extended to crafting and restoring furniture, where she brought new life to old pieces. Her love for bright and vibrant colors reflected her lively spirit, and her fondness for taking photos helped capture cherished memories with her loved ones.
Rachel's love for life was evident in her hobbies, which included eagerly watching Tik Tok videos of cooking shows, going zip lining, and expressing herself through tattoos. Her pride and joy was her son, Wrenley, who stood as her proudest accomplishment. Rachel's dedication to her family shone through in their ties, and she will be remembered for the love she shared.
She is survived by her wife, Kayla Brown of Rockville; her son, Wrenley Blankenship; her parents Rod and Deanne Blankenship of Leesburg; her siblings, Alexis Blankenship of North Webster, Tyler Blankenship of Pierceton, Christopher Hodson of Indianapolis, and Keagon Hodson of North Webster; her beloved nephews, Cayson, Wesson, and Grant; her niece, Kennedy; her aunt, Erin Allison and uncle, Kapen Eherenman.
She was preceded in death by her mother, Jennifer Scott, and her brother, Ryan Scott.
A Life Celebration Visitation will take place on December 6, 2024, from 4:00 PM to 7:00 PM at Titus Funeral Home & Cremation Services 8056 E. 500 N. North Webster, IN 46555. A funeral service will follow at 7:00 PM. with Pastor Mike Kelley officiating.
In lieu of flowers donations are appreciated to help with funeral costs and any extra money will be used to help care for her son Wrenley. Donations be made below.
