Rachel E.B. Pelletier

Rachel E.B. Pelletier, 69, of Syracuse, IN passed away at 9:47 a.m. on August 6, 2016 at her home. She was born on March 9, 1947 in Nashua, NH to Maurice Francis & Beatrice E. (Gaudette) LeBrun.

She graduated in 1965 from St. Louis DeGonzaga High School in Nashua and on August 17, 1968 in Nashua she married Richard R. “Dick” Pelletier who preceded her on April 8, 2016. She was a homemaker and moved to Syracuse area in 1989 from Richmond, VA.

She was a member of St. Martin DePorres Catholic Church and Wawasee Kiwanis Club both in Syracuse.

She is survived by:

2 Sons – Kenneth (Donna) Pelletier of Claymont, DE & Scott (Chrisie) Pelletier of Goshen

6 Grandchildren

She was preceded in death by her parents, husband, and brother – Roland LeBrun.

Visitation will be from 4:00 – 8:00 p.m. on Tuesday, August 9, 2016 at Owen Family Funeral Home, 1001 S. Huntington St., Syracuse. A Kiwanis service will be held at 6:30 p.m. on Tuesday evening at the funeral home. Funeral mass will be at 11:00 a.m. on Wednesday, August 10, 2016 at St. Martin DePorres Catholic Church, 6943 E Waco Drive, Syracuse with Father Andrew Nazareth officiating. Cremation will take place at Cremation Services of Kosciusko County, 4356 N. St. Rd 15, Warsaw, IN. Private family burial will take place in the Syracuse Cemetery.

Preferred memorials may be given to Syracuse Sports Complex Fund, c/o Wawasee Syracuse Parks Foundation, 1013 N. Long Dr., Syracuse, IN, 46567. Envelopes are available at the funeral home and church.
