Randy Newman

Randy E. Newman, of Warsaw, passed away at Lutheran Hospital on Wednesday, August 3, 2022 at the age of 63. Randy was born on February 25, 1959, the son of LeRoy and Ruth Newman.

Randy married Brenda on November 3, 1984. For many years, he worked as an electrician for Pell’s Electric before changing careers to work for Wabash Welding Service as a welder for over 30 years. A hard worker and perfectionist, Randy was the family’s go-to handyman. He loved wrestling and working in his yard and garden.  Most of all, Randy loved spending time with family, especially his grandchildren.

Randy will be missed by his children, Kimberly (Steven) Hively and Keith (Veronica) Gidley; grandchildren, Aaron (Erin Bowersox) Simpson, Breanna Gidley, Kari (Jacob Myers) Simpson, and Brandon (Selena Townsend) Hughes; 6 great grandchildren; and sister, Mary (Jason) Jacques; sister-in-law, Teresa Newman. He is further survived by his nephews, Zach Newman, Tommy Bradford, and Stacy Wilson; nieces, Katie Newman and Danielle Newman; and 2 great nieces. Randy was preceded in death by his wife, Brenda and brother, Donald Newman.
