Ray A. Haab, 83, of Milford, IN passed away peacefully at 2:35 a.m. on Saturday, July 11, 2020 at his home. He was born on March 12, 1937 in Milford, IN to Elmer & Rose (Beer) Haab.
He was a lifetime Milford area resident, graduated in 1955 from Milford High School, and was a United States Army veteran where he was stationed in San Antonio, TX. He was married on November 18, 1962 in Latty, OH to Paula M. Sinn who survives. He was a farmer, worked for 20 years at Milford Farm Bureau Co-op, and was a bus driver for Wawasee Community School Corp. for 17 years.
He was an active member of the Apostolic Christian Church in Milford where he served as a Sunday School Teacher & Trustee.
He is survived by:

Daughter – Jill (Brian) Brannock of Mt. Pleasant, SC
Son – Jon (Amy) Haab of Milford
9 Grandchildren – Kayla (Lucas) Grohn, Chelsea Brannock, Trevor (Mikeisha) Brannock, Tyler Haab, Breann Haab, Sean Gormaly, Maggie Gormaly, Ryan Gormaly, and Molly Gormaly
Gt. Granddaughter – Emerson Grohn
4 Sisters – Phyllis (Bob) Weuthrich of Francisville, IN, Ann Sinn of Haviland, OH, Irma Stoller of Paulding, OH, and Nettie Haab of Lafayette, IN
3 Brothers – Paul (Kathy) Haab of Quincey, IL, Steve (Marcy) Haab of Syracuse, and Don (Martha) Haab of Syracuse
Ray was a loving husband, father, grandfather, brother, uncle, and friend to all.
He was preceded in death by his parents, sister – Dorothy Steffen, and 3 brothers in law – Millard Stoller, Ray Sinn, & Walter Steffen.
Visitation will be from 4:00 – 8:00 p.m. on Tuesday, July 14, 2020 at Apostolic Christian Church Fellowship Hall, 201 N. Higbee St, Milford, IN and 1 hour prior to services on Wednesday. Funeral services will be at 10:30 a.m. on Wednesday, July 15, 2020 in the church with Pastor Randy Beer officiating. Burial will follow in the Milford Cemetery.
Preferred memorials may be given to the Milford Food Bank or to the donor’s choice.
