Raymond W. Tinker, Jr. age 74 of Warsaw and of Lehigh Acres, FL, passed away on Tuesday, November 24, 2020 at 7:56p.m. in Warsaw at Kosciusko Community Hospital.
Born on October 16, 1946 in St. Louis, Missouri, he was the son of Raymond W. Tinker, Sr. and Larma M. (Harris) Tinker. He attended school in the St. Louis area and went on to join the United States Navy where he served from February 1966 until his honorable discharge on November 1, 1969.
Ray, as many knew him, was a friendly person with a heart of gold. He loved time spent on his custom Goldwing motorcycle and summers in his Jeep. He liked to fish and spent many winters in Florida. He also enjoyed Karaoke thoroughly and was quite good at it! Professionally, he was retired from AT&T with more than thirty years of service.
Raymond is survived by his fiancée, Wendie Wilkinson of Warsaw; by nieces: Donna Grubbs of St. Louis, Shelly (Nick) Battafarano of Phoenix, AZ and Vicki (Halden) Traughber of St. Louis and by nephew, Danny (Chris) White of Topeka, KS. He was preceded in passing by his parents and sister, Loretta Mesplay.
Titus Funeral Home, 2000 East Sheridan Street, Warsaw, is assisting the family with simple cremation as was Ray’s wish. Memorials may be directed to St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital, 501 St. Jude Place, Memphis, TN 38105.
