Raymond O. "Jackie" Whitridge

Raymond O. “Jackie” Whitridge, 83, of Pierceton, IN passed away at 11:36 a.m. on Wednesday, April 25, 2018 at Visiting Nurse & Hospice Home in Ft. Wayne, IN. He was born on October 7, 1934 in Ft Wayne to Raymond J. & Corine M. (Gunkel) Whitridge.

He grew up in Ft Wayne and lived most of his life in the North Webster / Pierceton area. He attended St. Mary’s Catholic High School in Fort Wayne and was married on September 17, 1966 to Audrie E. Collins who survives. He was a United States Army veteran and he retired in June 1990 from General Electric in Fort Wayne as a machinist for 36 years.

He was raised in the Catholic Church and was a private pilot.

He is survived by:

Wife – Audrie Whitridge of Pierceton

2 Daughters – Belinda (Robert) Yagel of Columbia City & Brenda (Robert) Smits of North Webster

Son – William (Rebecca) Whitridge of Syracuse

8 Grand & 2 Gt. Grandchildren

Sister – Mary Ann Hill of Lake Havasu, AZ

Brother – William Whitridge if Laverne, CA

He was preceded in death by his parents.

Visitation will be from 2:00 to 4:00 p.m. & 6:00 to 8:00 p.m. on Friday, April 27, 2017 at Owen Family Funeral Home, St. Rd 13 & CR 500N, North Webster, IN. Funeral services will take place at 10:00 a.m. on Saturday, April 28, 2018 at the funeral home with Pastor Bob Dailey of the North Webster United Methodist Church officiating.  Burial will follow in the Mock Addition of North Webster Cemetery.
