Rebecca A. Bogeman

July 3, 1934 — February 22, 2023

Milford

Rebecca Ann (Meeks) Bogeman, daughter of the late Joseph and Roberta (Fager) Meeks, passed away at home in Milford, IN on February 22, 2023. She was 88 years old.
 
Born in Muncie, Becky, as many knew her, was a graduate of the former Green Township School  in Delaware County. She went on to earn a bachelor's degree from Ball State University. Later in life, she furthered her education at St. Francis University in Fort Wayne, earning a master's degree.
 
A giving and creative person, Becky was one-of-a-kind. She had a fantastic sense of humor and loved to laugh. She was easy-going and made friends easily. She was an artist, piano player, piano teacher and loved to travel. She enjoyed crossword and wordsearch puzzles. She liked music of all kinds and liked to dance. 
 
Professionally, Becky was retired from teaching. She taught mostly music and art, having spent time at several schools locally including: Churubusco, Butler, Coesse, Shelbyville and in Phoenix, AZ
 
Married to John E. Bogeman on March 21, 1981, the pair spent more than 41 years together before Becky's Wednesday afternoon passing. John survives at home in Milford. Also surviving are children: Terry (Mary) Armstrong of Warsaw, Nancy Cochrane of Fort Wayne, Joe Armstrong of The Colony, Tx, John Bogemanm II of Bradenton, FL and Jack (Jessica Towe) Morris of Shelbyville; 12 grandchildren; 11 great-grandchildren and brother, Phillp Meeks. Becky was preceded in passing by a daughter, Jill Spears; grandson, Cameron Morris; sisters, Virginia Hershey and Martha Smith and by her parents. 
 
Titus Funeral Home of Warsaw is entrusted with care of the Bogeman family. The family is grieving privately at this time; a Celebration of Life is in the planning stages for a later date.
