Rebecca S. "Becky" Merritt

Rebecca S. “Becky” Merritt, 68, of Warsaw, IN passed away at 9:35 a.m. on Friday, August 3, 2018 at Miller’s Merry Manor in Syracuse, IN. She was born on July 19, 1950 in North Manchester, IN to Herschel & Mary Ellen (Burkhart) Merritt.

She grew up in North Manchester, graduated in 1968 from Manchester High School in North Manchester, and has lived in the Warsaw area for the past 40 years. She was a former bartender / cook at the Eagles Lodge & V.F.W. both in Warsaw.

She is survived by:

2 Daughters – Alica (Joe) Parkison of Ligonier & Renee Klingler of Kokomo

7 Grandchildren

3 Sisters – Donna Merritt, Martha Pursiful, and Bethany Merritt

She was preceded in death by her parents, sister – Julie Kent Merritt, and brother – Karl Merritt.

Cremation will take place at Cremation Services of Kosciusko County, 4356 N. St. Rd. 15, Warsaw, IN. No public services will be held at this time. Owen Family Funeral Home, 1001 S. Huntington St., Syracuse, IN is in charge of arrangements.

Preferred memorials may be given to the donor’s choice.
