Richard A. "Smokey" Schmucker

Richard A. “Smokey” Schmucker, 75, of Warsaw, IN (Barbee) passed away at 4:38 p.m. on Sunday, July 28, 2019 at his home. He was born on February 24, 1944 in Warsaw, IN to Jauncy & Thelma (Ogle) Schmucker.

He was lifetime Kosciusko County area resident and attended Atwood High School. He was married on July 3, 1965 in Etna Green, IN to Kandace M. “Kandy” Madden who survives. He retired in 2003 from Heckaman Homes in Nappanee after 40+ years.

He is survived by:

Wife – Kandy Schmucker of Warsaw

Daughter – Amanda (Chuck) Foreman of Warsaw

Son – Richard “Rick” (Jennifer) Schmucker of North Webster

5 Grandchildren

Brother – Kenneth (Inez) Schmucker of New Paris

He was preceded in death by his parents, sister – Helen Elliott, and 2 brothers – Harold & Ronald Schmucker.

Cremation will take place at Cremation Services of Kosciusko County, 4356 N. St. Rd. 15, Warsaw, IN. Visitation will be from 4:00 – 7:00 p.m. on Friday, August 2, 2019 Owen Family Funeral Home, St. Rd 13 & CR 500N, North Webster, IN.
