Richard D. “Dick” Heiman, 84, of Warsaw, IN passed away at 9:55 p.m. on Tuesday, December 25, 2018 at Miller’s Merry Manor in Warsaw, IN. He was born on August 28, 1934 in Warsaw, IN to Anthony “Tony” & Sophia (Ulerhank) Heiman.
He was a lifetime Warsaw area resident and graduated in 1953 from Warsaw High School. He retired from Heiman Construction in Warsaw after 50 years.
He formerly attended Sacred Heart Catholic Church & Fraternal Order of Eagles both in Warsaw and was an avid Notre Dame & Green Bay Packers fan.
He is survived by:
3 Daughters – Tracy Denny of Myrtle Beach, SC, Paula (John) Mason of Warsaw, and Melissa (Tim) Trueblood of Nappanee
Son – Brandon Vanover of Warsaw
7 Grand & 9 Gt. Grandchildren
2 Brothers – Bill (Beverly) Heiman of Warsaw and Ray (Jackie) Heiman of Carmel
Companion – Mary K. Daniels of Warsaw
He was preceded in death by his parents, 3 sisters – Evelyn Garrian, Rosemary Kerr, and Eloise Kinsey, and 3 brothers – Lee, Jim, and Paul Heiman.
A Celebration of Life Service will be held at a later date. Cremation Services of Kosciusko County, 4356 N. St. Rd 15, Warsaw, IN is in charge of arrangements.
Preferred memorials may be given to the donor’s choice.
