Richard J. "Dick" Harmon

Richard J. “Dick” Harmon, 71, of North Webster, IN passed away at 7:07 a.m. on Thursday, September 13, 2012 at the Visiting Nurse & Hospice Home in Fort Wayne, IN. He was born on June 7, 1941 in Seneca, MI to Wilbur Joseph & Ruth O. (Bell) Harmon.

He grew up in Michigan, attended high school in Adrian, MI and served 20 years in the United States Army. He has lived most of his adult life in the Kosciusko County area and moved to North Webster 11 years ago.

He was a life member of the V.F.W. in Warsaw.

He is survived by:
Son – Michael Harmon of Edgerton, MA
Sister – Mrs. Merv (Mary Lou) Whitehead of Warsaw
Brother – James (wife, Donna) Harmon of Wabash

He was preceded in death by his parents and 2 brothers – Gary & Robert Harmon.

Visitation will be from 5:00 – 6:00 p.m. on Thursday, September 20, 2012 at the Owen Family Funeral Home, St. Rd. 13 & CR 500N, North Webster, IN. Memorial services will follow at 6:00 p.m. in the funeral home on Thursday with Pastor Dennis Judy officiating.

Memorial bequest may be given to the donor’s choice. Envelopes will be available at the funeral home and church.
