Rita Roberts (Roberts)

Rita Ann Roberts passed away at 2:17 PM in Louisville, Kentucky’s Kindred Hospital. She was 53 years old.
Rita was born on August 20, 1963 in Rochester, Indiana. She was the daughter of James Eugene Roberts and Delores Mae (Clinger) Roberts. She would graduate from Warsaw Community High School and spent most of her lifetime in Kosciusko County, Indiana.
Rita had worked in Nursing at Warsaw Meadows Care Center, formerly Prairie View.
She was very outgoing and social, rarely knowing a stranger. She loved all children but especially adored her grandchildren. She enjoyed playing BINGO and loved going to the flea market. She also loved country music and was especially fond of Vince Gill.
Rita leaves behind many whose lives she touched. A short list of survivors includes her daughter, Martha Mae Collins of Warsaw; two sons, Shawn Andrew (Erica Marcum) Collins of Louisville, Kentucky and Bryan Eugene Coon of Warsaw; 11 grandchildren: Alexandra, Anthony, Gavin, Brooklyne, Kyler, Alexus, Caleb, Kaydence, Shawn Jr., Draven and Brianna; and a brother, Dale E. (Judith) Roberts of Silver Lake, Indiana.
She was preceded in passing by her brother, Charles “Chuck” Roberts and by her parents, Jim and Delores.
The family will receive friends for a time of visitation and sharing from 10 a.m. to Noon at Titus Funeral Home, 2000 East Sheridan Street, Warsaw. A funeral service which celebrates her life will begin at Noon with Pastor Bob Jarboe, chaplain of Kosciusko Home Care and Hospice officiating. Burial will be in Warsaw’s Oakwood Cemetery.
In lieu of flowers, the family has asked that memorial gifts and expressions of sympathy be made to Titus Funeral Home to assist with expenses.
The staff of Titus Funeral Home considers it a privilege to care for the family and friends of Rita Ann Roberts.
