Rita R. Messer, 70, of Silver Lake, IN passed away on Friday, August 12, 2016 at her home. She was born on April 29, 1946 in Marion, IN to Roscoe & Jeanette Sines.
She grew up in Marion, graduated in 1964 from Marion High School, and lived in California for 24 years until moving to Silver Lake in 2005. She was married on September 3, 1965 in Marion, IN to Adrian Messer Jr. who survives and retired from State Farm Insurance in California.
She is survived by:
Husband – Adrian Messer Jr. of Silver Lake
Daughter – Melina (Charlie) Vargas of California
Son – Adrian Steven (Stephanie) Messer of California
4 Grand & 2 Gt. Grandchildren
Sister – Toni Decker of Elkhart
She was preceded in death by her parents and sister – Edwina Hayes.
No services are planned at this time. Cremation Services of Kosciusko County, 4356 N. St. Rd 15, Warsaw, IN is in charge of all arrangements.
