Robert D. Peterson

Robert D. Peterson, beloved husband, father, and grandfather, passed away peacefully in his home on Sunday, June 2, 2024, at the age of 73. He was born in Warsaw on November 2, 1950, to his parents Robert Peterson and Donna Rapp (Koser).

Robert led a fulfilling life, graduating from Warsaw High School and going on to work as a Sewage Operator for the City of Warsaw. On October 22, 1983, he married Ramona Thomas. Together, they spent their lives raising their family. Known for his sharp wit and street smarts, he was a funny and mellow guy who touched the lives of those who knew him best.  

In his free time, Robert enjoyed various hobbies such as tinkering and building things, reading spiritual books like Joel Osteen's, and following sports - particularly football and NASCAR. He loved watching the Chicago Bears. Above all else, he treasured moments spent with his family, especially his grandchildren.

Along with his wife of 40 years, Ramona, he is survived by his daughter, Miranda Peterson Archer, and his grandchildren, Haley and Jacob Archer. He was preceded in passing by his parents and siblings.
