Biography
Robert Shelton, 54, passed away Thursday, October 22, 2015 at 4:55 PM in Kosciusko Community Hospital, Warsaw, Indiana.
Robert was born October 23, 1960 in Ironton, Ohio and was the son of James F. and Peggy J. (Creger) Evans. He lived most of his life in Warsaw.
Robert was a member of the Warsaw Moose Lodge. He loved working on cars, playing golf and was an avid fisherman. His family meant the world to him and he was always available to lend a hand to anyone who needed it.
Survivors include his son: Bobby Lee Shelton, Warsaw; 4 step daughters: Amy Hardy, Ashley O’Connor, Kathryn Logan and Jennifer Logan – all of Warsaw; 2 step sons: Billy Hardy Warsaw; and David Logan, Las Vegas, Nevada; 7 grandchildren: Seth Goodwin, Kaelyn Logan, Christopher Logan, Emma Logan, Quinton Logan, McKynzie Logan and Lillie Logan; 8 sisters and 3 brothers-in-law: Patty Jacobs, Warsaw; Sherry (and Leonard) Blanton of Vinton, Ohio; Elaine (and Ron) Trumbull, Warsaw; Linda (and Tom) Stapleton of Lake City, Florida; Catherine Shelton of New London, Wisconsin; Cynthia Eubanks of Palatka, Florida, Carol Weber and Christine Shelton – both of Ocala, Florida; and his former wife: Mary Shelton of Warsaw.
Robert was preceded in death by his father: James Shelton (April 13, 2009); mother: Peggy Evans (March 24, 2010); and sister: Paula Blankenship (September 19, 2010).
Family and friends will come together to share memories of Robert, Monday, October 26th from 3-6 PM at TITUS FUNERAL HOME, 2000 E. Sheridan Street, Warsaw, Indiana 46580. Robert’s life will be further celebrated with a service beginning at 6 PM in the funeral home with Pastor Bob Jarboe (Kosciusko Home Care and Hospice chaplain) officiating.
Burial will be in Oakwood Cemetery, Warsaw, at a later date.
